Accounting Demystified for Small teams

Sharing is caring!

Thursday, 3rd March, 2016 to get all your accounting questions cleared up!

So you’re launching your own first start-up. Naturally, there are many things you need to know and learn. While most of the time you learn things ‘on-the-job’, so to speak. However, this might not be the best way. We’ve invited a four-member panel of experts from Italia & Associates to answer any and all questions you have.

There are plenty factors you need to take into account, especially on the accounting and legal side of things, which are more often than not intertwined closely. There are so many accounting bases to  cover when you start up a business, and the best way to do that is to let the professionals handle it.

Still, having a firm understanding of the basics, if not the details can only make your start-up life easier. You need to know what kind of paperwork you need to file, how to register your business based on local laws and, more than that, how to handle your investments, your investors and definitely your taxes.

So, to make this a little simpler, we’ve decided to bring the experts to you, so you can ask all the questions you need, and gain the knowledge necessary to get your start-up ready, running and in good health. There’s more to starting up than the idea; there’s how much you’ve invested, how much your investors contribute and how the equity of your start-up will be split. The equity split between your partners, and the future stake going to your investors all need to be planned carefully and need the proper documents filed.

The four-member panel from Italia & Associates we’ve invited will answer all your queries. Here’s a brief introduction to two members of the panel; Percy Homi Italia, the Founder of Italia & Associates and Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Bharath Gopalakrishnan, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and Fellow of the ICAI will be answering all your start-up related accounting queries.

So if you have a start-up and want to know how best to handle the nitty-gritties of your business’ finances and other accounting needs, come down to the Accounting Q&A Sessions with Italia & Associates at iKeva on Thursday, 3rd March! Come meet the Accounting Gurus!
